Please forgive the fact I haven't removed them from the cellophane packaging; I want to keep them in good condition while I'm travelling.
Lovely Welsh sheepie. I like the strong Welsh connection in all these collages; it inspires me reflect on my use of Melbourne icons in my craft.

I love the juxtaposition of the bright butterfly sitting on the serious vintage man's head. Definitely not what he was visualising when he sat for his portrait. My guess is that the portraits in the collages are the maker's ancestors. The button reads 'For Gentlemen' - saucy!
I think the ladies in the picture are holding knitting needles. They've got traditional Welsh hats on.

This card is by Christine Gittins, another Welsh multi-disciplinary crafter, and is from an original drawing called 'The White Lion'. The White Lion is the pub in the centre of the picture.
